TECH DIGITAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitoring the performance of websites, applications, or digital platforms to identify slowdowns, bottlenecks, and issues affecting user experience.
- Performance Analysis: Analyzing performance data and metrics to understand trends, patterns, and areas of improvement to enhance digital performance.
- Load Testing: Conducting load and stress testing to simulate high user traffic and identify system limits, ensuring that digital assets can handle peak usage.
- Optimization: Implementing strategies and techniques to optimize the speed, responsiveness, and overall performance of digital assets.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Performance Monitoring Tools: Proficiency in using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, New Relic, or other monitoring tools to analyze and track digital performance metrics.
- Web Performance Optimization: Understanding techniques such as browser caching, minification, compression, image optimization, lazy loading, and reducing server requests.
- Code Profiling: Ability to use profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks in code and scripts and implement improvements.
- Load Testing: Familiarity with load testing tools like Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling to simulate user traffic and evaluate system performance.
- Content Delivery Networks (CDNs): Knowledge of CDNs and their integration to optimize content delivery and reduce latency.
