Job Responsibility For Sourcing Specialist, Accessories Role
- Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers/vendors for accessories based on quality, price, reliability, and other relevant criteria. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Sourcing Strategy: Developing and implementing sourcing strategies for accessories to meet the company’s needs and objectives. This includes analyzing market trends, conducting cost analysis, and identifying potential sourcing opportunities.
- Negotiation: Negotiating and securing favorable pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and maximize value for the company. Negotiations may involve price, quantity, delivery schedules, and other contractual terms.
- Supplier Performance Evaluation: Assessing and monitoring supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality standards, on-time delivery, and compliance with contractual obligations. Addressing any performance issues or non-compliance through corrective actions or supplier development programs.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, merchandising, and logistics, to optimize the supply chain for accessories. This may involve coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and ensuring smooth product flow.
