Qatar Airways Career 2024 responsibilities:

  • Develop & Maintain test cases according to requirements acceptance criteria to ensure no gaps in test coverage.
  • Clearly document defects found during testing in bug tracking system and track it to closure to ensure quality deliverable to end users.
  • Must communicate well, Track testing progress and write accurate test reports in the defines format to ensure organization/Project guidelines are achieved.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other teams to analyses requirements and resolve software issues.
  • Create test plans for various types of regression, system integration, Load & Performance and UAT tests.
  • Perform smoke testing, functional testing, front end testing, regression testing and also support client acceptance testing.
  • Design and develop automation tests to improve regression test scope of the software release and product
  • UAT Defect Analysis to triage the occurrence and capture the lesson learnt to mitigate this in the future.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Honors in Engineering/ Computer science/Mathematics/Sciences/Commerce or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.

Preferred skill:

  • Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle including Requirements analysis, Test Planning, Test case development, Test environment setup, Test Execution, Closure.
  • Hands on experience in developing automation scripts and synthetic transactions using Selenium/Appium and Cucumber will be added advantage.
  • Experience in Disaster recovery testing (crash/recovery) in distributed environments (failover strategies, messaging, streaming), Security testing (TLS secured channels, authentication, authorization, session handling), Usability testing of web portal (response times) is an added advantage
  • Experience in testing mobile apps and websites using cloud platforms like Brower stack
  • Experience in monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes is an added advantage
  • Gather and present testing metrics and testing activities for the projects to key stakeholders is good to have.
  • Must have good analytical skills and must be a good learner of new business processes, systems and should focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, test automation.
  • Must have good customer facing skills.
